CAREER EXPO 2015

The 2015 NM Aviation Aerospace STEM Expo was held on Kirtland AFB, at the New Mexico Air National Guard, Thursday Oct 7^th.  This event had a theme; Women in Aviation and Science.  We invited women aviators with aircraft to speak, had many of the exhibits with women only to talk with students and had several women as guest speakers at the opening ceremony.  We registered 44 exhibitors for the hangar, 15 other exhibits outside the ramp area and 31 private and military aircraft.  This included F-16’s, A-10, C-130, Huey Helicopter, an Eclipse jet and 2 Blackhawk helicopters.  Attendance was 2,189 students attending with over 3,000 people on site (Est).
